As those people that attend the regular monthly Farmers' Market in the Co-op car park will know, I am now back on my feet and back to jam production! The season has started briskly with new enquiries. I am very pleased the Naked Veg https://www.gonakedveg.co.uk/, selling organic fruit and veg in Oban, are now selling a selection of my chutneys and chilli jam.
I have received a suggestion that I could add Lime Marmalade to my repertoire so that is something I am going to make tomorrow. Firstly just a small batch to see how it goes - both in terms of production and set and also in sales. I do like to try making new thinks as the variety keeps the enthusiasm going! However I am having to pace myself as I am not yet able to stand all day every day without consequences. Today I had a 'day off'. Bonnie and I did a decent walk - the furthest I have managed so far, and then I labelled the 55 jars of Apple Chutney that I made yesterday. At five labels per jar that is quite a lot of peeling and sticking :), but I love it when my table is clear again ready for the next batch!
I should also mention that since I last posted on here Bonnie has had her Third Birthday!
So Happy Birthday Bonnie and that explains the picture.
