After a phenomenal amount of work, by my brother Steven, the new Jam Stall in the garden is stocked and open. It is deliberately quirky with its off-set slate roof, solar powered light and little chimney!
It holds considerably more than the old one so it might be a while for us to work out how much of each product is a good fit. It is more robust too so should be a better protection against the elements.
The shelves underneath are for jars to be returned and also for collection of orders. Handy for 'click and collect' and also for those with bigger orders!
As before the Jam Stall is always open. The doors are only to protect it from the rain. Even when the doors are shut the stall is available for use.
I wonder who will be its first customer?.......
