I have finally given in to popular demand and started making lemon curd. When I have been at fetes and craft sales I am often asked if I have lemon curd, so finally I have made some. It has passed the quality control of friend and taster, Elaine Welsh so I have bought a bigger pan and made a slightly bigger batch. A whole six jars in one go! I will try to increase that next time, depending on how popular it is.
It has been a very busy month since my holiday in August. I have been forever playing catch up trying to get enough stock to have some days off. Which I did when we had some visitors for a few days. With trips to inveraray, Southend, Carradale, Oban and inside Ben Cruachan it was a hectic few days, but great fun.
Now it is back to business and trying to get stock ready for the ...... Christmas markets.
