It has been a very busy month. I had no idea the gift packs would be so popular. It is lovely being such a small business that I can personally make and decorate the pack to the requirement of the individual customer. I had orders for packs from 2 jars right up to 10 jars. Every pack was different and some had ribbons and bows if appropriate.
Of course I now have to work out if there is a market for gift packs for other times - Valentine's Day, Mothers Day, Birthdays etc etc.
In the past month 2 more local shops asked if the could stock my preserves and they sold very well. They are both shut now for their annual holiday but want to continue selling my products when they re-open. Additionally another 2 shops slightly further afield want to start stocking my preserves in the Spring.
So, I am looking forward to 2019 and in April I will be moving into my third year of trading. This has been a very steep learning curve, but is very exciting as I can see the clear growth in this fledgling business.
