This week I decided to have a week off preserve making, make the most of the good weather and get outside.
Neil and I went down to Tarbert pier to go mackerel fishing, Sadly I caught nothing and Neil only caught one- albeit a good size. There were other people fishing too, but we did not see another fish caught all afternoon. Despite that it was a lovely, relaxing way to spend an afternoon.
July is a very busy month, having started with a sale in Oban, then last week The Farmers' Market for which I had record sales. Tomorrow is the Inveraray Car Boot sale and then the following weekend is the Tayvallich gala event. My shelves are currently well stocked and I am ready for it all:)
