I have not been adding to this blog recently as I have been otherwise engaged! This is my new kitchen floor, installed by my brother, who has travelled hundreds of miles specifically to do it.
Removing the old tiles- by smashing them up - created a lot of mess and dust, but it has all been worth it. Just see how shiny the new floor is! The job got bigger and bigger as the skirting board has all been replaced, the walls repainted and a new fridge-freezer installed. Project Kitchen Floor morphed into Project Kitchen!! Right now they are busy replacing the internal doors - again not part of the plan but they finish it all off so well.
I will be selling my preserves at a table top sale in Lochgilphead on Saturday, and then from Monday will back to jam making.
